Spring, 2012

I just don't know where the time seems to go lately...I am looking at planning my youngest's 2nd birthday, and it seems like she just got here! I decided to post one of my favorite pics of the girls together from this Spring. Both of them have those cheesy grins that I love ~ so like children...innocent and unadulterated smiles, without a care in the world.

We are looking at wrapping up Savannah's 5th Grade school year, and it's hard to believe that it is coming to a close. It seems like we just began kindergarten with her and now we are looking at 6th grade in just a matter of months! We just have returned from a homeschool field trip to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab which was a GREAT experience for both of us!

I hope to keep this a little more up to date, but I can't promise...life keeps us busy with Sloan working full time at the hospital and my teaching regular Zumba classes at church and the local community center. Maybe one day life will settle down, but until it does, we live every day for the One who created us ~Soli Deo Gloria!!!

Where has the time gone???

Oh my goodness, I can't believe it's been THAT long since I've posted on here!!! SOOOOOOOOOO much has happened. In September of 2009, I got to go to Tanzania with a group from our church - when I got back, the next month we found out we were pregnant again. July of 2010 brought Aiden Elizabeth into our lives, and now we can't imagine life without her!!! God has been so good to us - I will post more very soon. Promise it won't be two years now until the next post.

It's Been TOO LONG...

Oh, how can two months possibly go by so fast!!!??? There is so much I need to add, and yet I think I will just add a few pics and video clips from Savannah's ballet recital today. We are so very proud of her for all of her hard work, and she and her ballet friend did a great job today. I know she will enjoy her summer off, but she is doing fantastic and continues to enjoy ballet. Hope this finds everyone well. Remember to number your days - they pass so very quickly.

Hello All...

Just wanted to update everyone on what's been going on with the Bryan's. As many of you guys, we had a little snow yesterday. Savannah was thrilled and then a little disappointed that it melted too quickly. We've been busy with school, of course and then I've been the traveler it seems here lately with a work training in Atlanta and then a quick trip with my friend, Heather Hughes, to Richmond, VA. Wow, did I really do all of that??? Oh well, such is life. We are doing wonderful in this new year that the Lord has given us and hope that you all are as well. I am including pictures from a lot of different things that have occurred since our last blog - hope you all enjoy!

Jan Brett Children's Author...

Savannah and I got to go to the Jan Brett book signing this Wednesday in Birmingham. We have been fans for quite some time and Savannah got to see her "in action" as she demonstrated an illustration of some of the characters from her new book. Savannah had a great question for her about how she uses watercolors. I think this experience will spur Savannah on in her love of art...
